Today, I want to share the story behind the creation of Ramas' Call: Twisted Timing, our first point-and-click adventure with a medieval fantasy setting. Imagine being a tabletop RPG geek eager for adventures, but your friend messes up the calculations on their time machine… Now throw in the skills of an adventurer, a noble, and a detective. It's a whirlwind of chaos and challenges!

The game is packed with references and homages to the things that deeply influenced me over the years: classic adventure games like Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, and Deponia; legendary comics by Robin Wood (Nippur de Lagash, Pepe Sánchez); and the literary magic of authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, Liliana Bodoc, and Arthur Conan Doyle, among others. And, of course, there are nods to some of my favorite movies and series like Doctor Who, Supernatural, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones. We even included touches inspired by tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons!

Our goal was always to bring memorable and multi-faceted characters to life. Take Mic, our protagonist: he’s a true chameleon, switching between a robust adventurer, a meticulous detective, and a noble with flair, all while keeping his geeky charm intact. Joining him are Manny, the chaotic “mad scientist,” and Sarah, the hyper-organized assistant professor, who add their own unique dynamics to the story.

Today, Ramas' Call: Twisted Timing is available with Latin American Spanish voiceovers and subtitles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. We’re already working on expanding to even more languages for both text and voiceovers.
